Dan Simplicio needs no introduction, his work is well known and highly collected. This bracelet is a superb example of his work from the 1940's or so. The silver work is first class and the turquoise is nugget or seafoam style and very high grade with high polish. Inner circumference is about 5 1/2" PLUS a 1" gap ( this can be adjusted some ). Face is 2 5/8" wide, it is a large but delicate bracelet. Excellent condition with fine patina...

This beautiful bracelet is not signed, but is almost certainly the work of Ellen Quandelacy. She is the mother of Dickey who worked with Amy his wife. Ellen is better known for her fetish carvings, but she did make wonderful delicate jewelry in this style, the stamped " rain drops " are also her style. About 5 1/4" PLUS a 1 3/8" gap so will fit a 6 1/2" to 7 " wrist, can be carefully adjusted. Shell is gold lip pearl. Excellent condition...

These are really impressive. Kee Joe Benally won many awards at Gallup, Santa Fe and elsewhere, worked as a bench smith for Tanner for a while, and started in the 1950's, I think he worked with Kenneth Begay for a while. He is very well known for his variety, especially jewelry that resembles leather work. He is listed on page 82 of G. Schaff's book on 1200 artists. These ear rings are 6" long and 1 " wide, so very large but light, really make a statement...

This is the nicest Dine' butterfly pin I have ever come across, that is why I bought it, I paid a fair amount for it too. It is made from cast sheets of silver ( probably coin, but not tested )and is of significant age, 1940 or earlier, probably about 1930. Large 2 3/4" by 1 3/4", and beautifully made, great stamping, nice patina and just enough wear to show its age. Unmarked. Turquoise is nice too, small crack on the edge of one stone, but solid. ...

This is a rare item, very early work by Allen Pooyama ( also Pooyaouma ) from the late 1940's, before overlay work was done much. Allen Pooyama learned from his father, and worked until recently, he is widely recognized along with Paul Saufkie, Fred Kabotie, Morris Robinson, Homer Vance and others as one of the early great Hopi jewelers. About 7/8" log by 5/8" wide, clip on back, Hallmarked with his corn ear mark, silver and nice turquoise. ...

This is a very large and fine bracelet by Joe Chee ( hallmarked by the artist )Marc Chee's brother. Probably made during the second world war ( WW II ) since it had a huge piece of petrified wood ( looks like agate or jasper but almost certainly petrified wood ) which was used extensively during that time. The stone is about 2 1/8" by 1 1/8". Bracelet measures 5 3/4" circumference PLUS a 1 1/2" gap so will fit a 7 1/4" to 7 3/4" wrist, could be carefully adjusted. Excellent worn condition, fi...

This beautiful and heavy watch cuff is cast from silver and has what look to be nice Bisbee turquoise stones mounted. Inside measures 5 3/4" PLUS a 1 1/4" gap and looks like it could be adjusted.
