I purchased this from Wyndham Street Ltd. a local Asian and English antique store here in Omaha a few years ago, paid $250. The trunk is in good shape and about 21" long by about 10" by 10". Dimensions are approximate, has hand made iron latch and hinges. The age was determined by the shop, not me...

A fine and rare small aboriginal bowl. These coolamon were also used for digging and even as cradles for infants. This piece is well over 100 years old and appears to be made using stone tools. Rich patina and signs of use for digging, etc. Patina is much nicer than images show...

IMHO Richard Tsosie is one of the mos talented jewelers working anywhere. While this beautiful bracelet clearly shows the influence of Hopi artist Charles Loloma, Mr. Tsosie has made the design his own. The finely granulated bracelet is set with fossil mammoth tusk, high grade red and angel skin coral, lapis, sugulite, and turquoise...

Gilbert " Dino " Garcia is one of only a few working jewelers at Santo Domingo Pueblo. He worked with his grandfather Leo Coriz. This fine tufa cast bracelet has a migration design on the front with pueblo symbols on the back. Tufa casting allows for only a few of the same item to be cast until the mold breaks. This bracelet is hallmarked by the artist and is 5 3/8" inner circumference PLUS a 1 1/4" gap, about 1/2" wide and heavy silver. ...

Manuel Hoyungwa worked with his uncle Preston Monongye from 1975 before starting to make jewelry on his own. This piece most likely dates from about 1980 or so. I think these are supposed to be overlay bears, but they look more like moose to me! The bracelet is hallmarked by the artist and has an inner circumference of about 5 1/8" PLUS a 1 1/4" gap and can be easily adjusted. It is just under 1/2" wide. ...

This is a beautiful item that was used for decades before being collected in the field in the 1980's. Note the wear on the handle and the fine encrusted patina. Fine incised carving over the entire piece, and the handle looks like an animal gripping the pail. About 11" tall, I assume used to milk the yak herd. I wish I could take better pictures, it is much nicer in person....

In the form of a royal gong, this pendant would have been displayed at funerals. This piece is beautifully and finely carved with a nice worn patina indicating decades of use. See African Art Western Eyes by Susan Vogel 1997 pg 194 for reference. The surfaces are curved and concave or convex, a very difficult technique. 5 3/4" by 2 1/2". From Taylor A. Dale and an old Belgian collection. ...
