The attribution to Mr. Leak is by me. Though the work speaks for itself. This is a beautiful pair of cufflinks from the 1950's or so that are very well crafted ( John Gordon Leek did not do sloppy work ). Faces about 1" long, pin scratched EAW ( was there and E. A. Wallace? ) on the back by a trader. Very good worn condition, no cracks in the stones...

This is a rare item indeed. Nanyin Maymuru 1918-1969 was one of the early documented bark painters in Australia. He was a Manggalilli Yirrkala from Northeast Arnhem land and his paintings sell for thousands of dollars. His brother was Narritjin Maymuru who was one of the leading Australian painters of all time. This didg was collected in 1964 in Arnhemland. It was made for the instruction of young players who might later play in ceremonies...

IMHO Richard Tsosie is one of the mos talented jewelers working anywhere. While this beautiful bracelet clearly shows the influence of Hopi artist Charles Loloma, Mr. Tsosie has made the design his own. The finely granulated bracelet is set with fossil mammoth tusk, high grade red and angel skin coral, lapis, sugulite, and turquoise. Richard and his brother Boyd were both taught be Kenneth Begay and were first made famous by a 1979 article in Arizona Highways where they were featured with J...
