| This is a very fine example of kodogu. Beautifully and finely rendered sweet fish swimming in a stream. Shibuichi or possibly copper with gold highlights. Near mint condition. There is a 3 kanji inscription on the back that seems to refer to evening calm. It is signed Seizui possibly for Hamano Seizui 1695 to 1769, the period and the school look correct to me. Any further information would be welcome. 17.5 x 1.1 x .3 cm. Much nicer than the pictures with excellent detail. | ||
