A very fine pair of vintage silver and high grade number 8 mine turquoise by Lewis Lomay. He started working about 1930 while studying with Ambrose Roanhorse at the Sante Fe Indian School. Later he worked for many years at Frank Patania Sr's shop. Beautifully done work as is typical of this artist, posts have been added to the original clip on backs, clips remain and they could very easily be converted back to just clip on. Hallmarked LL and his snake hallmark about 1 1/2" long by 3/4" wide, 11.2 grams, excellent condition.
