| Very nice tozan school bamboo flute made by Gyokuzan and signed by him. No cracks or major defects, just normal wear on a shakuhachi that is probably 40 years old or so. Mid-joint is brass, lacquer in bore is near perfect as is the utaguchi. Plays easily and has very nice tone. Gyokuzan was a well known maker and his flutes are posted for sale on other websites for $1800 to $5000. There is nothing wrong with this one, it is just that I found a Miura Hozan that I like better and bought this one right, so can sell it for a good price. | ||
