| These are really impressive. Kee Joe Benally won many awards at Gallup, Santa Fe and elsewhere, worked as a bench smith for Tanner for a while, and started in the 1950's, I think he worked with Kenneth Begay for a while. He is very well known for his variety, especially jewelry that resembles leather work. He is listed on page 82 of G. Schaff's book on 1200 artists. These ear rings are 6" long and 1 " wide, so very large but light, really make a statement. Excellent condition, a fine collectors item. | ||
