Squat lekythos decorated with a recumbent sphinx with raised forepaw. Nice rendition of the female head and of the feline body. The front of the raised wings with tiny dots. The tail with a bushy tag.
An ancient hole was purposely drilled in front of the sphinx to prevent that the vase could be reused.
The decorated area has survived passably while the rear of the vase is spalled.
