The body formed from two separate conical pieces. Turned ribs on the lid of the pyxis separate five circular paths with remains of enamel inlays.
The second row with a band of blue four-leaf clovers on white ground; the fourth with a white and blue checker on red ground. Both between emerald green and deep blue bands.
Just below the raised rim lip an indentation bearing a bronze band fixed at both ends with riveted loops that keep the arched strap handle...

The roaring open mouth and the gesture with the raised paw denote the apotropaic function of the figurine.
