Appealing stone neoclassical head on top of a partially preserved pilaster.
The round head shows arched eyebrows, eyes with defined lids, a straight nose, and a sensuous mouth. The wavy hairdo is covered by a band of serrated ivy leaves and corymbs. Tight curls frame the forehead and the temples...

Interesting stone bead with three bands of drilled concentric circles, some of them linked with lines. Remains of red pigment in the cavities.
The Ghaznavid dynasty originated from Turkic slave-guards and lasted from 977 to 1186 AD. At their greatest extent the Ghaznavids controlled large parts of Iran, Afghanistan, much of Transoxiana and the northwest of the Indian subcontinent.

Buff colored ointment vase with the characteristic wide mouth, globular body, and high conical foot.
The neck and most of the foot covered with red-brown glaze. Concentric bands around the upper part of the body.

Daunian krater with globular body and short funneled mouth. The vertical loop handles on the shoulder area alternate with two red colored stumps.
Brown-red linear decoration around the body, wavy lines at the handle area, hanging semicircles inside the funnel opening.
One handled reattached with bone glue, a medium that was in use until the 1950s.

Glazed Gnathia ware oinochoe with trefoil spout and arched handle. The body decorated with leaf-sprays suspended from a band with egg pattern and dots.

Rare snapshot of a satyr play with a pot-bellied actor in the role of the drunken satyr on a mule. The ithyphallic animal with dancing hind legs, the head thrown up, the mouth easily opened.
The rider sits as if drunk, the head turned to the side. His left hand clasps the head of the mule, while his right rests on the animal’s croup.

Anatomical votive offering in form of an eye. Frontally molded and reworked with the modeling tool.
The Etruscans knew a great variety of votive terracottas, which they placed in their temples as thanksgiving offerings or wishes for healing.
Some of the votive eyes found appeared with eyelids and the periocular tissue, while others just showed the eyeball. The first may have referred to disorders like conjunctivitis, the other to myopia and cataracts.

The vessel features a reel-shaped body with stepped foot and a flange. The doomed top with the head of Medusa at center. Medusa is rendered with a round face and curls ending in snake heads.
The pyxis is made in one piece and open at the bottom. The piece was not intended for concrete use and served as richly decorated burial object.

Pan is shown with a goat's head, hoof-shaped feet and the body and legs of a human. The ithyphallic god holds a horn in his raised right hand, a bunch of grapes (?) in his left. Pan stands on an integral rectangular base.
The figure is almost entirely covered with soil deposits, with much white slip and pink pigment underneath.

Nice black-figure lekythos with men, two of them seated on fold chairs (okladiai). The men show nicely rendered heavy heads. They wear cloaks, some with faded bordures or dots, two of them holding staffs (?)
