| Greek black-glazed juglet of bag-shaped body set on a ring foot. Splayed rim and strap handle. Covered inside and outside with a deep, lustrous black glaze. For related vases cf. lots no. 93 and 94 in: John W. Hayes. Greek and Italian Black-Gloss Wares and Related Wares in the Royal Ontario Museum. Toronto 1984. Ceramic. Greek, South Italy, late 4th century BC. H. 6.4 cm (2.5 in). Pristine quality and condition. Lustrous black glaze, darker at the lower end where the juglet was soaked a second time.
