Burnished vessel of broad bellied form with rounded shoulder showing a couple of bosses that suggest nipples and are surrounded by impressed white points. The high narrow neck curving out at rim, the wide mouth slightly higher on one side. A strap handle linking rim to shoulder Several groups of faint white lines running down the body. Ceramic. Anatolian, Yortan Culture, ca. 2700-2500 BC. H. 19.3 cm (7.6 in), H. with tripod stand 20.5 cm (8.1 in). Intact. The burnished surface partially worn. Swiss private collection (data will be provided to the buyer)
