Experienced representation of a vigorous hand-modeled bull. The triangular forehead with a vertical groove, the ears barely set off from the short horns, the tail skillfully set around the croup. Terracotta. Etruscan or Italic Terracotta Bull, 5th/4th century BC. L. 15.7 cm (6.2 in). One leg missing, otherwise intact with slightly abraded surface. Organic soil deposits in places. Nice example. Swiss private collection (data will be provided to the buyer)
