Polychrome wood mask and upper headcloth from an anthropoid coffin. The light red-brown face with a serene smile, the large eyes are rendered with cosmetic lines. Eyes and eyebrows painted black, the striated headdress enhanced yellow and green.
Wood Egyptian, Late Period, 712-332 BC H. 27 cm (10.6 in) H. with stand 37 cm (14.5 in) Stucco coat damaged in places. Several pegs at rear for attachment to the mummy coffin’s lid.
