Banded skyphos decorated on each side with birds in silhouette technique. Both framed by palmettes resting on volutes.
An ivy leaf in the field, further leaves below the handles.
Steep wall, the inset lip slightly flared on top, torus foot, sideward handles.
The underside with a dot surrounded by off-centered circles in dilute glaze. The number 1042 written with pencil.
