Carved female head with round face, linearly drawn large eyes with faint irides, straight nose and full lips. The hair drawn upward over the short forehead. Bone. Egyptian, Roman/Coptic Period, 3rd-5th Century AD. H. 5.6 cm (2.2 cm), H. with stand 15.1 cm (5.9 in). Broken at neck level. Expressive carving. Swiss art market.
