Egyptian Bronze Amulet of Hapokrates, 712-33 BC
The seated Child Horus with his feet resting on a rectangular base, his arms by his sides. The nude god is schematically rendered, the cursory head with indistinct features. A braided sidelock with spiral curl falling onto the shoulder. Bronze. Egyptian, Late Period, 712-33 BC. H. 9.8 cm (3.85 in), H. with stand 11.1 cm (4.4 in). Intact, cursorily rendered. The pendant loop behind the neck damaged. Dark patina with incrustations. Swiss art market (data will be provided to the buyer).
