Bronze Bowl, Luristan, late 2nd to 1st millennium BC
Squat bronze bowl with rounded base, marked shoulder and narrow flared rim. For a related example formerly in the Godard collection cf. fig. 373 in: Eric De Waele. Bronzes du Luristan et d’Amlash. Louvain-La-Neuve 1982. Bronze. Luristan, late 2nd to early 1st millennium BC. H. 6 cm (2.3 in), D. 10.6 cm (4.2 in). Intact. Fine patina with silvered areas. Swiss art market (data will be provided to the buyer).
