An unusual Nepalese bronze probably depicting a form of Visvarupa, the cosmic universal form of Krishna. Dating to the 18th century the finely cast multi armed and multi headed deity crouches within a aureole of leaves and flowers. He measures 4½ inches in height. The bronze was originally attached to a large ritual lamp and could use a base though he stands well enough on his own.

Finely cast 18th century Nepalese bronze figure of Vishnu riding his mount Garuda surrounded by an aureole of serpents. This bronze was originally attached to a large ritual oil lamp but is now mounted in a custom black wooden stand. Visable portion of statue is 4 inches in height, total height including stand is 6¾ inches.

A fine rare 15/16th century Tibetan bronze figure of Vajrapani. This is a heavy chunky piece measuring 11cm tall (13.5 on its custom stand). The piece has typically become separated from its base but that aside condition is fine with no other losses/damages. Originally purchased in London in the early 1990’s.

18th century Tibeto-Chinese parcel-gilt bronze figure of Ushnishavijaya "Victorious Crown Ornament ", a figure closely associated with longevity in the Tibetan Tantric tradition. Intensely gilded with her 8 arms arranged rhythmically around her the goddess measures 13.8cm in height. The style, especially the execution of the faces suggest the piece may have been made for the Mongolian market.

A small Korean bronze votive statue of Buddha dating to the Unified Silla dynasty (7th to `10th century), the bronze has two cavities on the back of the figure together with a protruding peg for the attachment for a now missing aureole which is typical for these early images. The statue was probably originally gilt and has wear appropriate for its great age but otherwise is in good condition. The height of the figure is 11 cm.

An antique Javanese Wayang Golek puppet from west Java dating from around 1900. The head has been repainted several times and the clothing replaced as happens with all genuine old working puppets. The puppet measures about 22 inches from the top of the head to the bottom of the controlling stick.

Very old Tibetan figure of a Bodhisattva made from some sort of clay/Earthenware with the remains of multiple layers of pigment. This piece was obviously attached to a larger object perhaps the aureole of a large Buddhist figure. It’s difficult to be precise on dating but obviously has good age. It measures 4 ¼ inches in height.

An unusual Tibeto-Chinese gilt bronze figure of a dancing Bodhisattava or Celestial. The best know figures of this type where the pair of Ming Xuande bronzes which sold in Hong Kong in 2006. This bronze is much later and dates to around 1800. It has unfortunately lost a lot of the gilding on the figure itself with only traces left throughout, the gilding seems to be intact on the ends of the scarves which swirl either side of the figure...

Antique Tibetan ritual dagger or Phurbu, of typical form with a horse’s head at the top, below which are 3 wrathful heads mounted on a Vajra with the three edged blade emerging from a Makara’s mouth. This Phurbu is probably 19th century, the casting is somewhat provincial but the piece especially the expressive three wrathful heads is quite powerful as I hope the pictures have managed to capture. The dagger measures 8 inches in length.

Marpa's teacher was the Indian yogin Nâropa, and his most famous disciple was Milarepa. The plaque dates to the 19th century or earlier and measures 13x9 cm
A Chinese Clay Buddhist Plaque depicting Amitayus carrying his long life bowl with an inscription on the reverse. The iconography is Tibetan but the colors are obviously Chinese Qing dynasty in taste. China 19th century.

Khmer Bronze statue of the Hindu deity Shiva. Though the attributes held in his hands are hard to identify this figure can be identified as Shiva by the third eye in the centre of his forehead and by his small beard which can be clearly seen in the profile pictures. Measures 13.5 cm tall from feet to head, 20.5cm when on stand.

Small finely painted Tibetan Buddhist painting of the Bodhisattva Manjushri with Sadaksari Lokeshvara on the bottom left and Vajrapani on the bottom right respectively. The painting is from Mongolia and measures 7 x 5¾ inches. It dates to the 19th century, the painting suffers from a small amount of paint loss and darkening from butter lamps.
Japanese rootwood carving of Bodhidharma (Daruma) the first Patriarch of Zen Buddhism. Difficult to assign a date but probably early 20th century, measures 8 ½ inches in height.
