A small Korean bronze votive statue of Buddha dating to the Unified Silla dynasty (7th to `10th century), the bronze has two cavities on the back of the figure together with a protruding peg for the attachment for a now missing aureole which is typical for these early images. The statue was probably originally gilt and has wear appropriate for its great age but otherwise is in good condition. The height of the figure is 11 cm.
