Large old Tibetan Buddhist Thangka painting depicting Vajrabhairava the wrathful tantric emanation of Manjushri. together with various other wrathful deities including Mahakala, Yama and Palden Lhamo, at the top are the figures of three Lamas. The painting comes complete with its dark blue silk brocade mounting with red and yellow silk strips bordering the painting. There is also a thin worn yellow silk ‘veil’ which can hang over the painting to protect it...

A beautiful 20th century Nepalese bronze of the “Dhyani” Buddha of the East Askhoyba “the unshakable” seated with his symbol the Vajra held upright in his hand. A fine example of 20th century craftsmanship from the Newar bronze casters of Patan. Measures just over 8½ inches in height.

Classic Nepalese representation of the Boddhisattva Padmapani Lokesvara personification of compassion. This attractive gilt bronze statue has seen ritual use, the gilt is worn in places and though the figure has been lightly cleaned the remnants of smoke and ritual substances still adhere to the figure. The bronze is 20th century in date, collected in Nepal in the 1970's. It measures 7 inches in height.

In this painting Jambala is depicted only by his attributes, the Snow Lion, parasol, crown etc presumably for use in Tantric visualization practices. The painting measures 50 x 44 cm.
