Chakrasamvara, central figure of the Tantra of the same name with his consort Vajravarahi. His name means "Supreme Bliss of the Wheel". Chakrasamvara is a popular figure among Nepalese Buddhists and this bronze was cast in Nepal in the 19th century. It measures 7 inches in height.

A group of three related finely painted Tibetan Tsakli cards dating from the late 19th century depicting a white, green and red Dakini. The cards measure 5½ by 4¼ inches and are in excellent condition with only minor wear. There are several lines of script on the reverse of these cards.

A wayang golek cepak puppet from the Cirebon region of Java. Cepak puppets are traditionally used to perform the wayang menak stories of Amir Hamza or episodes from the Panji epic. This puppet dates to the early 20th century and has been painted using natural pigments, now worn, giving somewhat beatific look to his face.

An expressive and finely carved Javanese performance mask of a Wanara (monkey) character used in the traditional masked dance dramas known as Topeng. This mask is a genuine performance mask and dates to around the 2nd quarter of the 20th century.

A antique carved gilt lacquered wooden statue of an elderly Buddhist Monk. Aged and worn he dates to the 19th century at the latest, probably much earlier. He measures 8 inches in height.

A finely painted Tibetan Tsakli card dating from the late 19th century depicting a wrathful deity riding a bull. The card measures 5½ by 4¼ inches and is in excellent condition with only minor wear. There is a line of script on the reverse.

A small Chinese Bronze altar piece in the form of an Elephant carrying a vase standing on a lotus base. In Chinese symbolism an Elephant carrying a vase symbolises 'peace and serenity'. This little personification of serenity measures 4¾ inches tall and is quite heavy for his size. Dates to the 19th century.

An unusual Nepalese bronze probably depicting a form of Visvarupa, the cosmic universal form of Krishna. Dating to the 18th century the finely cast multi armed and multi headed deity crouches within a aureole of leaves and flowers. He measures 4½ inches in height. The bronze was originally attached to a large ritual lamp and could use a base though he stands well enough on his own.

Small antique Indian container in the shape of a goddess head probably used for storing cosmetics circa 19th century. Measures 2½ by 3 inches, heavy for its size.

A Pala style Sino Tibetan bronze figure of Amitayus dating to the 18th century. The sculptor has attempted to give this status pronounced 'Indian' features as can clearly be seen in the pictures. The bronze has been cast in two sections, the figure joined to the throne by tendons. The statue has a rich brown patina with remains of pigment and cold gilding on the face. Height is just a touch over 5¾ inches.

Finely cast 18th century Nepalese bronze figure of Vishnu riding his mount Garuda surrounded by an aureole of serpents. This bronze was originally attached to a large ritual oil lamp but is now mounted in a custom black wooden stand. Visable portion of statue is 4 inches in height, total height including stand is 6¾ inches.
