| A pair of Javanese Wayang golek cepak puppets of a rare type with legs attached to the body. According to Peter Buurman’s well known book on the subject “Wayang Golek” in which a couple of puppets of this type are illustrated this form probably originates from North Java (Japara) or Yogyakarta. The puppets measure about 19 inches in length from the bottom of the handle to the top of the head. | ||
