| An unusual Tibeto-Chinese gilt bronze figure of a dancing Bodhisattava or Celestial. The best know figures of this type where the pair of Ming Xuande bronzes which sold in Hong Kong in 2006. This bronze is much later and dates to around 1800. It has unfortunately lost a lot of the gilding on the figure itself with only traces left throughout, the gilding seems to be intact on the ends of the scarves which swirl either side of the figure. Apart from the wear to the gilding the figure is in good condition and is a good size at 8¼ inches. | ||
