| This is a tiny small scholar's art brush washer , with rich enamel painting of a Kirin and a Pu-lao . Pu-lao is one of nine sons of the dragon king in Chinese myth , who is afraid of whale and will scream when seeing the whale .But in this painting , the Pu-lao looks very happy to meet with the Kirin , for kirin is believed to be a very merciful and happiness creating mythical beast .
