The Pyxis remains completely intact with no restoration and features a design of palmettes with a nicely detailed figure of Eros on the side. The lid remains in excellent condition with attached handle with braided "knot of Hercules" design. This is a truly rare form and an excellent display piece. 16.5 cm in height. Relics of the Nile is thrilled to present this incredible Greek Gnathian Pelike. This artifact is nicely formed with bulbous body and two intact handles that connect to the neck. The body features floral designs around a central dove figure. The pelike remains intact with typical deposits which do not detract from this beautiful piece. The Pelike measures 6.25" tall. Greece - 4th century B.C.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this splendid Gnathian Greek kylix. This is an excellent example that features the standard grape design on the sides with a floral in the center. The highlight is the beautifully formed pair of delicately formed handles. The kylix remains in choice condition with only professional repair to the base and one handle and no overpaint. The kylix measures 6.25" acoss the handles with collection label still attached on the bottom...

Offered here is an outstanding Greek Apulian Kylix. The kylix has a splendid body form with beautiful intact handles that curl slighly upward at the tips. The feature of this piece is the nice band of grapevines that surrounds the piece on both the inside and the outside. In addition, this kylix features Medusas' stamp, which adds even more value and beauty to this piece. There is little wear to this piece and it remains fully intact and without restoration...

Relics of the nile is pleased to present this Mayan bowl from Guatemala, ca. 500 - 800 AD. The bowl features solid color with an excellent, detailed design of chiefs that repeats around the circumference of the piece. The bowl remains in solid condition and the body remains intact with the exception of some chipping on the rim that has been slightly repaired in one place. The bowl measures 6" in diameter and has evidence of extensive usage, good root marks and mineral deposits.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this ancient Greek terracotta figure of a Boeotian maiden (possible Aphrodite) from the Classical Period. She stands on a rectangular plinth with her left hand on her stomach and her right hand resting on what is possibly the edge of a piece of furniture or the top of a large jug. She wears a garment that ancient Greek women at the height of the Classical period wore with a nicely styled beaded necklace and flowing hair...

The facial features on this piece are choice and the terracotta color is very solid with traces of the original black pigment remaining. This is a nice piece. It's a large, weathered limestone button scarab which dates to the Late Period in Egyptian history (circa 600 B.C.). Measures: 1.2" in length. Condition: Intact with obvious water abrasion to the surface. Provenance provided to purchaser.

For your consideration is this fabulous and large, 18th Dynasty, New Kingdom, black steatite scarab. Not a burial placement, this scarab would have been worn by someone as a talisman during everyday life, as evidenced by the even polishing over the surface. Item measures 25.58 mm (1 ") in length. Condition: surface polished by natural wear. Item is intact and choice with inscription on the underside. Inscription is not discernable, except for the two opposing ostritch plumes flanking the car...

This rare juglet type is typical of the form that was popular in Judea during the Iron Age II Period (circa 1000 - 586 B.C.). Nice design and beautiful coloring. This jug measures 3.5" tall. The back is supported by a full dorsal pillar and features a completely intact suspension hole. The figure is worn, but is likely of the standing god Horus, in falcon form.
