The amulets remain with beautiful, rich colors and glaze, which has made Amarna period amulets so desirable. The lot is made of a grape bunch thistle, blossoms, fish, dancing Bes, wedjats, a wedjat ring (band made from another ring), poppys, leaves, petals and more. Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this lot of 7 New Kingdom terra-cotta molds from Tell el-Amarna. Two molds have numbers on the bottom in black and red. The molds include a well defined rosette, a seated figure, scepter, collar element, figure of Bes, a scarab and an ankh. Each mold looks to have been used with remains of faience paste inside. The molds range in size from 7/8" to 1" in length. From a private collection in Massachusetts formed in the 1960s and 1970s...

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this large detailed wooden foot from a statue. Each of the five toes are carved in detail and the foot is presented in yellow. A red sandal strap crosses at the top of the foot and runs between the toes. The original dowel still exists on the back of the foot that connected it to the larger statue. The foot measures 7.25" in length and forms an excellent and interesting display that shows footwear of the Egyptians in everyday life...

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this detailed ancient Greek bronze coin. The coin features the a choice patina with the head of an emperor on the obverse. The reverse of the coin features a standing figure flanked with Greek text on either side. This is a lovely example that measures 3/4" in diameter. Ex-McInnis Collection.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this interesting example of an ancient Greek bronze arrowhead. This arrowhead was manufactured by one of the Greek states ca. 600 - 200 B.C. The peak of the oil lamp features a figure that appears to be the head of a bird. The lamp measures 3.75" in length and 1.5" tall. 2nd - 1st Century B.C. Ex-McInnis collection.

The alabaster features a nice marbled pattern and looks brilliant under the light. The table would have originally been used to hold various offerings such as unguents and food to be used in the after life. Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this very large Egyptian granite ceremonial spear head. Spears in ancient Egypt were primarily used for hunting, however the spear never surpassed the bow and arrow. Spear heads like this one were attached to long wooden shafts by means of a tang and were often used in the military as auxiliary weapons used by charioteers once their arrows were expended. Many scenes depict military processions where the army presents large spears in succession...

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this collection of Egyptian faience amulets. The amulets range in size from 5/8" to 1" each in height. Included are an amulet of Anubis, a standing goddess, shu, a seated Isis with Horus, and the cat deity Bastet All have completely intact and unclogged suspension loops and the she amulet has a collection number remaining on the bottom. All are Egyptian late period, ca. 664 - 50 B.C...

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this quality bronze surgical instrument. The instrument was used as a probe and one end is grooved, which may have been used to hold sutures. There is a nice banded groove design toward the end and the bronze instrument has a lovely ancient olive patina. The instrument itself measures 6 5/8" in length. This comes beautify and professionally framed with a description plaque on the front. The frame size measures 11.25" x 9.25". Roman, Ca. 100 A.D.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this detailed Egyptian bronze figure of a seated deity Horus as a child, also known as Harpocrates. Horus' side lock is presented in excellent detail with his right hand to his mouth. This bronze has an absolutely choice olive patina with very little wear. Professional repairs have been made just above the ankles, which does not detract from the piece. The seated bronze measures 4.75" in height, plus the size of the base...

It remains very large in size measuring 11.75" in height (excluding stand) and 7.25" inches in width. The mask has lovely facial features including remnants of the headwear and clearly defined mouth and nose. The mask features the original dowels which attached the mask to the body of the sarcophagus lid...

The lid of the lekanis features palmette design with a lady of fashion and a banded design around the base. Both handles remain intact and the piece measures 9cm high x 18cm in diameter.
