Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this detailed Egyptian bronze figure of a seated deity Horus as a child, also known as Harpocrates. Horus' side lock is presented in excellent detail with his right hand to his mouth. This bronze has an absolutely choice olive patina with very little wear. The back and part of the lower portion is missing, however the front containing the cartouche of the pharaoh is still intact. This is cone number 576 from tomb number TT 295 for the scribe Paroy, also known as Djehutymose. The cone is wonderfully inscribed and detailed with clear glyphs.
