Each leg is a massive, solid piece of Egyptian architecture measuring 21" in height, in addition to the custom mount for the pair. Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this choice Egyptian terracotta ushabti. The shabti remains intact with a cream base and facial features and mummiform arms in orange. The eyes, nemes headcloth, and hieroglyphics are presented in striking black pigment. The name is untranslated, however the glyphs on the front express a prayer to Osiris. This is quite a large shabti that makes an excellent display. 6.5" in height. Egypt, Late Period, 664 - 50 B.C...

It remains very large in size measuring 11.75" in height (excluding stand) and 7.25" inches in width. The mask has lovely facial features including remnants of the headwear and clearly defined mouth and nose. The diety stands an incredible 23.25" from the base of the figure to the top of the plumes and features a bearded face, painted in red, surrounded by a headcloth. Beneath the head is a beautifully painted necklace, with a classical Egyptian look. There is some restoration to the figure and the plumes could possibly be replaced in modern times...
