Egyptian Terracotta Ushabti With Glyphs! 600 BC!

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this choice Egyptian terracotta ushabti. The shabti remains intact with a cream base and facial features and mummiform arms in orange. The eyes, nemes headcloth, and hieroglyphics are presented in striking black pigment. The name is untranslated, however the glyphs on the front express a prayer to Osiris. This is quite a large shabti that makes an excellent display. 6.5" in height. Egypt, Late Period, 664 - 50 B.C. Provenance provided to the purchaser.
