Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this detailed Egyptian bronze figure of a seated deity Horus as a child, also known as Harpocrates. Horus' side lock is presented in excellent detail with his right hand to his mouth. This bronze has an absolutely choice olive patina with very little wear. Professional repairs have been made just above the ankles, which does not detract from the piece. The seated bronze measures 4.75" in height, plus the size of the base. Egyptian, Late Period, 664 - 350 B.C. Provenance provided to the purchaser.
