Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this lot of 7 New Kingdom terra-cotta molds from Tell el-Amarna. Two molds have numbers on the bottom in black and red. The molds include a well defined rosette, a seated figure, scepter, collar element, figure of Bes, a scarab and an ankh. Each mold looks to have been used with remains of faience paste inside. The molds range in size from 7/8" to 1" in length. From a private collection in Massachusetts formed in the 1960s and 1970s. Egyptian, New Kingdom, 1539 - 1075 B.C.
