| This Drawing by George Stout was Presented to George Carver and is so marked on the bottom of the drawing. Mr. Stout was a Painter, Restorer, and a Director of several Museums. He was a Restorer for the Fogg and Gardner Museums. He was a Director of the Gardner Museum for over 16 years. The Drawing is dated 1927 with G.S initials inside a shield at the bottom left corner. The inscription To George Carver with a Signature of George L. Stout to the right of the Carver name. More research will be done on the George Carver inscription and we will advise. It measures 12 3/4" tall x 10 3/4" and is in Excellent Condition. | |
