This is fine Aquatint work by Georges Braque(1882-1963) who was outstanding French modern painter, and Cubist artist next to Picasso.The beautiful work of Pink flower design with Brown tone vase. The condition of work is excellent as unframed work showing. No stain, no fog, and no damage. The work has little age color on the paper.The back of frame has the original sticker of "Downtown Gallerie,1919 Pacific Ave, Dallas 1, Tx RI 87932" with the written information,"Eau Forte Original by Georges Braque" "was etched 1959-this one bought by Downtown Galleries in 1960, complete edition sold out in 1960-artist died in 1963 $3000.00(price showing at that time, 1960)" Also attached the newspaper clip of 1983 Braque's exhibition.Original frame from 1960.
