The size of Bowl: 5 5/8" Dia x 1 3/4". Pretty Japanese Blue and White(Sometsuke) Ko Imari. The bowl is finely made with fine roundness as well as fine glazed finish. Very elegant rinka(flower petal) shape on the top rim. the center of bowl with Sho-Chiku-Bai(Pine, bamboo and plum) design. There are painting of tree, rock and wisteria type flower haning from top, carefully painted in detail. Karakusa painted on outside with three ring around Kodai(foot rim) It is well painted with nice Gosu blue. The condition of bowl is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Dating from late 18c(1760-1790).
