The size of each Bowl: 5 13/16" Dia x 1 1/2" High. Great Japanese Porcelain Sometsuke, Blue and White bowl with boldly painted dragon face with clouds. The set of 5 pcs from late mid to 18 th century. The color of underglazing is sort of darker blue. The condition of bowls are excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. There are a couple of Kamahi(original kiln spots) which my photos showing. On glazing Hittsuki(stick) , one indentation above dragon head inside bowl. One glazing deposit lump on one of bowl side and other very minor spots as these are all handmade in 18 th century. The sand sticks inside Kodai (foot rim) as photo showing. Bowl top rim has little rounded scroll edge. It is rare to find 5 pcs set. All 5 bowls sit well. Dating from 1760-1780. Middle of Edo. We sell only as set of 5 pcs.
