The detail of painting is great with gold works. The condition of Porcelain is excellent, no chip, no crack no forced hairline. All gold works and surface as well as other part of bowl are great condition, no gold wear out. Please note there are some Jikan around the bowl as well as some inside bowl around the edge. These Jikan looks appear as forced hairlines but they are all original kiln Jikan lines which caused by the temperature differentiation when the bowl pulled out from the kiln. These often to find on Kutani porcelain items. It caused them when the bowl was pulled out from hot kiln into the cold temperature. They are all in the glaze and they do not catch the finger tip like the hairlines by the outside forces. There are little Kamahi (original kiln spots) around the bottom. The sound of bowl is great and free from any forced cracked. It is hard to find this large Kutani bowl. Dating from Late Meiji to Taisho period, 1910-1920’s. The bowl sit well and well rounded. It came with simple wooden stand.
