The size of Kashi Bowl: 7 1/16” Dia x 3 5/16” High. This is beautiful Japanese Kyo Yaki Kashi Bowl with fine gold foil sheets which burned onto the surface of bowl. The Chrysanthemum design has raised work with glazing. The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. It came with Tomobako. The size of Tomobako in Japanese, Ninsei style work Chrysanthemum design, Hachi(bowl). Shuto saku (made) with his seal. Bowl has embossed seal of Shuhou. The bowl was made around 1980’s.
Nakamura Shuhou 3rd(1947- )
He was born in September 1947 in Kyoto. He graduated Kyoto Municipal Industrial High School, Ceramic department. He was trained under Shuhou 2nd (1918-1976). In 1985, he had one man show at many places in Japan. He received Kyoto city Mayor price in 5th Kiyomizu Yaki exhibition. In 1988, he donated his work to Seian city, China. In 1994 he was certified as Kiyomizu Traditional Kyo Yaki Artist.
