| The size of Plate: 8 1/4" Dia x 1 1/2" High. Beautiful Japanese Old Imari Porcelain Plate. The plate has very fine detail work of Phoenix bird(Ho-O), and Cho-Cho(Butterflies) with gold works. There are two divided design on the plate. One with Phoenix wtih red, gold and blue underglaze at rock. Other side with detail butterflies painted by red and gold . The waving done by gold. There are gold design work on the blue underglaze. Back side with good painting of leaves design. The plate marked with Fu-Ki-cho-Shun. The condition of plate excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairlines as well as almost none scratch as well as fine gold condition. Dating from end of Edo to Meiji period around 1860-1870. | |||||||||||||||
