| The size of Suzuribako: 9 1/2" Long x 8 1/2" Wide x 1 3/4" High. Amazingly beautiful Japanese Takamakie Lacquer Suzuribako. It is one of most impressive Makie Suzuribako ever seen. The suzuribako has wonderful design of Rocks, Wave design. The body is made with wooden finished with Takamakie done in silver finish Takamakie on wave splashing. The wave lines done in black urushi lines over the linen texture finish background. The rock are done in Sabi Tataki Nuri which made looks like rusted metal surface. The design is done in Korin Rinpa style. The same finish extended into the side of lower Suzuribako side. The finish inside with beatiful Nashiji, inside cover, inside tray area as well as the lower box inside. The bottom area done in Roiro makie. The condition of Suzuribako excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. The Suzuribako has very little wear. Box cover fit well as well as Suzuribako sit well.
