| The size of Satsuma Vase: 4 7/8" High x 3 1/8" Dia. It is one of prettiest Satsuma Vase with fantastic details works on entire vase. It has two windows of Rakans, girl and boys and dragon design. The figure faces and gold works are amazing in such a small size vase. In between the windows, there are also very fine geometric design over green, blue and red underneath. Even the background space are painted with fine gold pinpoint works. The side band area is also breathtaking works. It is just speechless works. It is signed, Meizan Sei(Mizan made), Hotoda-Ten. Hotoda is Trading company in Yokohama during Meiji period who specializing Satsuma pieces. The condition of vase is excellent othr than one restoration spot right below top rim area which show photo No.9. No wear on gold works. Very fine and facinating detail gold works. One of finest detail Satsuma work ever seen. Actual gold color on vase is much prettier. Photo maked reflection of gold hard. They used finest quality gold on vase.
