| The size of Suzuribako: 9 1/16" L x 8 3/8" W x 1 3/4". Very beautiful Japanese Makie Suzuribako with Togidashi inside. The Cover of Suzuribako with beautiful Japanese flowers done in gold, silver and other colors. The flowers are Botan(peony), Fuji(wisteria), Ume(plum), Kiri and Ayame(iris) flowers. Inside finish with Togidashi. The condition of suzuribako excellent. There are little wear spots as last two photo showing in the size of 2-3mm which are very minor. No major ding. No crack. Dating from late Edo around 1850-60's. It came with wooden box, but it is not original one. Right side top photo little bit dark. | ||||||||||||||
