A very rare and large stone Scarab, Egyptian dating to the 25th. dynasty, reign of Shabaka.

The seal is engraved with a double cartouche scarabs - Nefer ka Re for the Late Period, 25th Dynasty. Done in a greyish black stone.

Nefer Ka Re translates to "Beautiful is the soul of Re". Shabaka was a Nubian Pharaoh of the 25th Dynasty. Scholars have generally agreed that he came to the throne in about 715 B.C. However, some think that it may have been 712 B.C...

A rare and very interesting cylinder seal in Rock Crystal, Old Babylonian, 1925-1595 BC.

The seal while missing a part of the top, is extremely important and well carved in a very unusual material for the period. The long clear inscription is translated as something like 'Warrad Amurrum, son of Sin and Servant of Marduk'

A rare and wonderful bronze mortar, Baroque period of Northern Europe, 18th. century.


The mortar is inscribed with owners initials O: H: S:, M: L: and the clear date 1769, the mortar is likely somewhat older, early 18th. century and made in a bronze allow, not brass that became popular later in the 18th. century.

The mortar comes with the original Pestle and was part of the inventory (Exebition) of a Swedish Farmacy.

A very rare and attractive solid silver Budhha, Thailand, ca. 17th. century.

This buddha is made of solid silver and there's a rusty spike in the bottom, from the way it was constructed.

The figure depicts the smiling Buddha seated on a plain Throne. An early South East Asian solid silver Buddha, normally these Buddhas would have a thin silver folliage covering a wooden core, but in this case it was made with solid silver.

A scarce and very large Danish Neolithic axe, dating to the 3rd. millenium BC.

This axe was likely made as an offer axe, because of it's size and weight and perfect condition. The axe is of the socalled shaft hole type, made in greystone, the hole drilled in the back of the axe and with perfect symethri and balance. The type would have been made during the Single Grave period around 2800-2600 BC.
