A set of very decorative early brass irons, with wooden handles, Northern Europe / Denmark c. late 18th.-early 19th. century AD.

The irons with nice fine floral engravings on the surface, and one with royal mongram stamp and D&G stampes as well. They can be dated to c. 1780 and 1820.

Size: Massive irons, measuring 18 cm. and 16 cm. long and 14,5 cm. and 16 cm. tall. They weigh 2,25 kilograms and 1,65 kilograms each. Shipping cost: $85 to US and overseas / $45 for EU...

A c. 1720-1740 Tobacco box in an extrafine and sharp condition for the often well-polished boxes of the early period.

Erotic motifs on both sides and as something rare, it's inscribed in the copper with 'Een vurig hart is een kroon der wereld' which means something like 'A fervent heart is a crown of the world'.

Length: 17 cm. and c. 5 cm. wide.

Condition: Near Extremely fine for the type of item.

A very large double candlestioc with decorated shield, Dutch, c. mid 18th. century.

The shield finely decorated with a flower vase, loop for hanging. twin candlesticks losely attached below.

Size: 37 cm. tall and 29,5 cm. wide.

Impressive large antique with a nice presence and it gives a wonderful reflective light.

Condition: Very fine and intact with typical period soldering, visible on the back.

A pair of interesting candlesticks, 16th.-18th. century.

One is a very interesting, likely Flemish candlestick, in a white bronze or brass alloy, 16th.-17th. century, the other a North-European candlestick of the bell-type.

Size: 254 cm and 21 cm. respectively.

Condition: The bell stick likely a composite of two old parts, the other with soldered repair.

A superb antique Danish mortar in beautiful early brass alloy, dating to the reign of Christian VII (1766-1806), this mortar dates early in his reign, c. 1770-1790.

A beautiful brass mortar with a corrosponding pestle, very decorative and a nice antique for both display and kitchen use. Note the fine baroque details and the nice coat of arms and makers marks in the bottom. The pestle displays some remnants of having been intensely decorated

Size: Mortar is ca. 108 mm...

A lovely early North-European bronze tripod Pan, dating to mid-late 18th. century AD.

An early type of Scandinavian cuphrite brass metal pan for open fire with three legs and a closed handle. Later crude owners initials from time of use are dating to c. 1800. This particular alloy and type was made c. 1750-1780.

The pan with wonderful patina, extensive wear and repairs from the time of use.

Size: c. 33,6 cm. long incl. the handle...

A huge and unusual candlestick, European and possible a candelabra from a church, dating to the 18th. century.

Size: c. 46 cm. tall - very impressive! The base is 16 cm. wide.

Condition: The piece is basically intact but a bit loose on the lowest part, which can be fixated quite easily. It has several dents, wear and patina etc..

A choice and beautiful bronze signal (table) cannon, dating to the early 18th. century.

The cannon very nicely made and comes with a fine brass patina. Fully functionable cannon made with a bore hole of 16-17 mm.

Size: 22 cm. long and weighing c. 1,1-1,2 kilograms.

A large brass mortar with a corrosponding pestle, very decorative and a nice antique for both display and kitchen use.

Size: Mortar is 133 mm. high and 130 mm. wide, pestle is ca. 24 cm. long and combined weight of the set is more than 3 kilograms!

Condition: Superb.

An important pair of exceptional gilt brass shield wall sconces, Noble house in the German States or representing the Holy Roman Empire, c. 1650-1680.

Artfully decorated shield type of scounces with German Heraldic Eagles on either side of a wreath. Inside the wreath a knealing page is presenting the crown. With floral decoration other the remaining surface. The two candle holders with drippand also decorated repousee...

A superb quality and extremely large for type decorative brass dish or Baptismal dish, as it's also called, Nuremburg, 16th.-17th. century.

With it's highly unusual size of 52 cm. and the fine execution, this dish comes from a very rich family estate. The dish shows a high-born renaissance lady in the center with well executed incised concentrhic decoration at the fan. Lovely deep black patina on the backside.
