Rare Egyptian hardstone Scarab, 1st. Early millenium BC.

A very unusual large Scarab, unengraved in the bottom and likely a heart Scarab. It was carved in a beautiful piece of banded Agate, now petrified so that some layers are calcy white or beige in colour, others layers are in transperant agate - splendid rare stone!

Size: 35 mm. long and 29 mm. wide

Condition: Choice! Completely intact with a wonderful patina.
