Pottery decorated with incised designs and splashed colored glazes like this was popular in most areas of the Islamic world. This bowl belongs to a group of ceramics usually described as Bamiyan and found in Afghanistan, there is no archaeological evidence that they were produced there.

An exceptional Arkkadian (Mesopotamian) stone Mace Head, dating 2400-2100 BC.

A rare Mace, carved and polished in a fine almost black Serpentinite stone, a stone widely used for seals in the period. The Mace of Piriform, but in this case finely fluted for extra impact power.

The Mace head is very attractive, polished in a type green hardstone, slightly elongated form, like a hammer and deadly in hand-to-hand battle.
