A superb cylinder seal carved in Lapis Lazuli, Mesopotamian, Early Dynastic period, 2600-2500 BC.

The seal is of very high quality, featuring a very good contest scene in which a Hero is figthing two horned animals while another hero is figthing one horned animal. Very detailed. Interestingly, there's a cobber wire stock inside the seal since antiquity and it has developed much corrosion and patina.

A RARE AND LOVELY CHLORITE STONE JAR, BACTRIA, CA. 2000.1500 BC

The jar very attractive with a sprout, finely carved and polished with a small footring and a pinched rim. Also note the raised section around the sprout.

Interesting unidentified white stone stamp seal, Western Asia, late 3rd.-early 2nd. millenium BC.

Most possible Elamite or BMAC.

The seal is rectangular with a diamond cross section and engraved on both sides with a horned bull and a large bird, likely an Eagle, caugth in mid air with wings spread, looks like it's in an attacking mode.

Size: 31 mm. long and 24 mm. broad. Pierced.

A wonderful lot of three Sassanian stamp seal from an old Danish Collection, dating 200-500 BC.

Seals in three different material, Carnelian, Hemaetite and Agate. All seals with finely patinated surface and fine Sassanian style. The best of the seals shows a bridled horse, the other seals with stylized bird and another more detailed bird eating.
