A pair of earlier Opium weights, denominal 10 Ticals, (weight approx 160 grams and 152 grams), Shan, late 18th. century.

Nice Shan Ducks of a good size, with fine brown patinas. Both on Hexagonal bases one stepped and one decorated on top.

Condition: Choice, very nicely preserved.

Highly interesting and artful stone carving of a couple, Indonesian, Java, before Indian influence, pre 8th. century AD.

A naked couple, they look to be in the act of lovemaking, finely carved with many details which reveals on a closer look, carved in a redish and grey stone, quite heavy. Attractive tribal style!

Size: 25 cm. long, 23 cm. tall and 12,5 cm. thick, weighing around 10 kilograms...

One of the largest genuine old Burmese bronze opium Weights, Burma, ca. 1750-1780 AD.

Size: Nearly 11 cm. high

Weight: ca. 1550 grams, which should date to the later part of 18th. century.

Condition: Superb, excarvated with smooth wear, fine dark and tinned patina with green dusty highlights, a beautiful piece.

A scarce larger, authentic bronze Opium Weight in the shape of a bridled and sadled Horse, Laotian at least 17th-19th. century.

A nice old Weight, depicting a very robust Horse with fine thick greyish tinned patina, looks like old silver!

Weight: 57,8 grams (equal to 5 Kyat).

An exceptional large bronze ritual bowl, Indonesia, Java, Majapahit Empire, 13th.-14th. century.

As temporary with the Yuan and Early Ming Dynasties, the Majapahit Empire became a dominant world power in the 13th.-15th. century unders ruler like Hayam Wuruk. Majapahit was an empire of 98 tributaries, stretching from Sumatra to New Guinea;consisting of present-day Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, southern Thailand, East Timor, Sulu Archipelago and other parts of the Philippines...

An outstanding and very large pottery sculpture of a Fish, Indonesia, Majahapit Empire, 13th.-14th. century AD.

The sculpture comes with a termo-Luminescence test from Kotalla Laboratory in Dec. 2020, the vessel tested as ca. 590 years old.

The fish is resting on a large podium with it's tail and head lifted, it's sharp teeth visible in a large curving mouth...

A stunning large sculptural Roof tile with large Bird, Indonesia, Majapahit Empire, 13th.-15th. century AD.

Made with inspiration from the tiles used on imperial buildings during the Chinese Yuan and Ming Dynasties, this tile feature a large and beautiful rendered Bird with large feets, seated with each leg over a turned over V-shaped tile, with fine carved and moulded details to head, wings and tail, as well as large claws. Highly unusual piece and extremely rare!

Circular form with blue decorations on a white underglaze. Floral and geometrical motifs.

Size is c. 9 x 9,5 m. - 3,5 x 3,7 inches.

Condition: Choice with smaller chips to the rim of the lid. A vertical hairline crack at the base.

A Thai Sawankhalok pottery covered box and a bottle, dating to 14th-15th cent Ad.

A large covered box with floral moifs on a grey/light blue underglaze. The bottle with a globular shape and unglazed base.

Sizes: The covered box 10 cm high, 12 cm wide (c. 4 x 4,7 inches.)

Condition: The bottle is superb - as made. The covered box has a chip to the rim. (Not visible when the lid is on). Besides that: as made.

A splendid ritual silver necklace, southeastern Asian, ca. late 19th. century AD.- early 20th. cent.

The necklace with engraved bib or collar with fish amid scrolled foliates and geometric borders, traditional sides recalling a bird with downswept engraved tips (joined for mounting by circular and elongated links)

The whole necklace is greatly elongated with two hammered fishes, dangling long beads and a large butterfly below.

A superb and near lifesize Thai head of Buddha, Ayutthaya, Thailand. c. 15th century

The head of longish oval shape, with clearly delineated eyes and lids lowered in meditation, a smiling mouth and tiny curls covering head and ushnisha.

Sandstone was a highly coveted material during the early part of the Ayutthaya period, and the use of curved lines and petite bumps for hair reflect the influence of Indian Gupta stylization.

An important laquered and gilt seated bronze figure of Buddha, Thailand, ca. 15th. century AD.

Lovely buddha in an exceptional quality and condition. He is crowned and seated in the deepest of concentration, in the "Samadhi" - meditation mudra.

Made by very skilled artisans with a fantastic expression; highly arched brows, downcast eyes and the distinctive extra line around the mouth. Three stepped throne with sharp lifted corners.
