OUTSTANDING FIGURAL AMULET OF FAIANCE DEPICTING SEKHMET / BASTET, lATE PERIOD CA. 600-300 BC.

A large figure with fantastic details in two colours: Shiny torquise blue and black for the details of the hair and head of the Uraeus above the head. A loop behind and standing against a column inscribed with hieroglyphs reading 'I AM SEKHMET AND BASTET'.

Height: 83 mm.

Condition: Superb! A minor loss to right hand, the faiance perfectly preserved...

A finely carved stone bowl with inverted rim, typical of the Early Dynasties.

The bowl is carved and polished in banded alabaster.

Size: 83 mm. wide and ca. 30 mm. high.

Condition: Choice to nearly superb, no repiars or chips! The stone shows some corrosion and/or inclusions, perhaps some calcification in a spot on the bottom.
