A wonderful lot of three Sassanian stamp seal from an old Danish Collection, dating 200-500 BC.

Seals in three different material, Carnelian, Hemaetite and Agate. All seals with finely patinated surface and fine Sassanian style. The best of the seals shows a bridled horse, the other seals with stylized bird and another more detailed bird eating.

Size: c. 17-18 mm. for each.

Priest or god standing with two winged animals an inscription behind, unntranslated and likely imitating Babylonian Cuneiform.
