Perhaps the finest of a small group of chlorite jars we've obtained recently. With a small foot and ornately decorated in high relief below the rim on the entire surface with typical Bactrian style ornaments. Note the small hole where a sprout in another materian was once mounted.

Size: 73 mm. wide and 33 mm. high.

Condition: Intact with glossy surfaces and much eye appeal. Minor ding to the body.

A very large and highly interesting Mesopotamian amulet of a cow, ca. jemdet Nasr 3200-3000 BC.

A very large amulet carved in one piece of shell, where the artist have preserved the outer layer of Mother of pearl. Very nicely done. The amulet is carved in the shape of a cow or bull with folded horns and incised circles on the surface. Two holes drilled for mounting it in antiquity.

Size: ca. 62 mm. long and 48 mm. high. Iridicent on both sides.
